Moe Askarzadeh

Moe Askarzadeh is an accomplished architect with 15 years of experience, primarily focused on residential and hospitality design. He has led high-profile projects across the United States, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the Bahamas—most notably the LINE Hotel in Washington, DC, and 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge in New York. His portfolio also includes numerous high-end residences throughout the U.S. Moe’s work has been featured in prominent publications such as The New York Times, the New York Post, ArchDaily, Dezeen, and Architectural Digest. He is a recipient of multiple international honors, including awards from the World Architecture Festival (WAF) and D3.

Prior to co-founding BAAM, Moe launched his own practice, where he completed luxury residential projects in the United States and the Bahamas, as well as hospitality projects in the New York area. He also served as a Senior Architect at ODA Architecture, where his innovative approach—applying modular systems and mass customization—secured multiple competition wins and global commissions. Additionally, he contributed to the forward-thinking design cultures at Dattner Architects, an award-winning firm recognized for impactful public works and civic projects throughout New York City, and INC Architecture & Design, lauded for its visionary approach to boutique hospitality and high-end residential design.

Moe holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Arizona, as well as a Master of Landscape Architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tehran.
